VIDEO: ‘Oops’ missed it

No wonder a recent report came out in the States that show only 29% of people believe news reports.

The most recent poll found just 29 percent believed news reports had the facts straight. (Eight percent said they didn’t know.)”

Porn as dangerous as guns to kids

“PORN should be treated like guns and kept under lock and key so children aren’t inadvertently exposed to it at home, a senior Liberal MP has suggested.
Scott Morrison says there should by laws prohibiting parents from letting their children view restricted material.

“It is not acceptable to knowingly or negligently expose a child to pornographic material,” Mr Morrison told Federal Parliament tonight.

“To do so in my view is child abuse.

“Even those who would defend an adult’s right to porn would surely not oppose any restriction or sanction placed on parents who knowingly or negligently expose their children to this abuse.”

Mr Morrison said Australia’s laws currently “exempted” from sanction parents who exposed their children to porn.

“Our laws should and must draw the line.”

The NSW Liberal said the legal system protected children from the dangers of firearms in the home and should similarly protect them from pornography.

“Any ammunition must be stored in a locked and separate container, it must be put in a locked receptacle which is very solid, and failure to meet these requirements attracts a jail sentence,” Mr Morrison said.

“If we can protect our children from guns then we should also be aware of the loaded gun that is lying around in the homes of thousands of Australians on their computer, on their coffee table, in their bathroom or in their bookcase.”

The opposition’s housing spokesman said long-term exposure to porn put children at great risk of developing sexually deviant tendencies, committing sexual offences and having difficulties with intimate relationships.”

So I tried a few searches on anything Australian, and the funny thing is the link that came up in both searches ended up with the William J Clinton name coming up. I wonder what the interest is on his part. Check them out for yourself.

Guess who wants to teach our 5 year old kids to masturbate

If your first guess was not the UN then sorry your wrong. Of couse it’s not just teaching 5 year old to masturbate but also 9 year old’s to obtain condom’s and that abortion is safe (just not for child being killed in the abortion).

How can these people come out with this junk and say that it a right of the child to be taught this in schools. This is the parents responsibility to teach their own children in a manner that they see as appropriate, not what the state decides.

A June report from the United Nations Economic, Social and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) suggests children of all countries and cultures are entitled to sexual and reproductive education beginning at age five…The guidelines are designed, according to the report, to be “age-appropriate” and break down the suggested curriculum into four age groups: 5- to 8-year-olds, 9- to 12-year-olds, 12- to 15-year-olds and 15- to 18-year-olds.

For those aged 5 to 8, some key concepts to be discussed are:
— “Touching and rubbing one’s genitals is called masturbation” and that “girls and boys have private body parts that can feel pleasurable when touched by oneself.”
— That “people receive messages about sex, gender, and sexuality from their cultures and religions.”
— That “all people regardless of their health status, religion, origin, race or sexual status can raise a child and give it the love it deserves.”
— “Gender inequality,” “examples of gender stereotypes,” and “gender-based violence.”
— Description of fertilization, conception, pregnancy, and delivery.

For those aged 9 to 12, key concepts include:

— “specific steps involved in obtaining and using condoms and contraception, including emergency contraception” and the “signs and symptoms of pregnancy.”
— That “legal abortion performed under sterile conditions by medically trained personnel is safe.”
— Discussing the ideas of “homophobia, transphobia and abuse of power.”
— Discussing that “every person has the right to decide whether to become a parent, including disable people and people living with HIV” as well as “ART (anti-retroviral therapy) and side-effects on puberty.”
— That “both men and women can give and receive sexual pleasure” and the “definition and function of orgasm.”
— Discussing “examples of harmful traditional practices,” listed examples of which include female genital cutting, honour killings, bride killings, and polygamy.”

Daily Devotion

When you disregard your positive qualities by telling yourself, ‘I’m too fat, I’m no good, I never do anything right,’ you’ll always find verification of what you’re looking for. Dr. Richard Carlson says: ‘Putting yourself down reinforces rather than corrects your imperfections by placing unnecessary attention and energy on everything that’s wrong, rather than what’s right with you. Why would you do this knowing the only possible result is a negative outlook, more negative feelings and less appreciation for the gift of life? People who regularly put themselves down are often seen as complainers, not to mention the example they set. Everyone has aspects of themselves they’d like to improve, but this doesn’t mean you should beat yourself up. Here on earth none of us is ever going to be perfect, but putting yourself down isn’t the answer.’

‘He has made perfect for ever those who are being made holy.’ Hebrews 10:14 NIV

The Bible says God ‘has made perfect for ever those who are being made holy.’ Max Lucado writes: ‘Underline the word perfect. Note, the word isn’t better. Not improving. Not on the upswing. God doesn’t improve; he perfects. He doesn’t enhance; he completes…I realise there’s a sense in which we’re imperfect. We still err. We still stumble. We still do exactly what we don’t want to do…that part of us is ‘being made holy.’ But when it comes to our position before God, we’re perfect. When he sees each of us, he sees someone who has been made perfect through the One who is perfect – Jesus Christ.’ It’s okay to work on improving yourself, but go easy; stop often and remind yourself that you’re ‘being made new…becoming like the One who made you’ (Colossians 3:10 NCV).

Figures reveal horror tales of late terminations

Enough already. How many more stories like this do we need to see to say stop killing our babies.
If I child is born alive even after the attempted murder of an abortion then every step should be taken to ensure they survive, you do not just throw them out with the trash. How can anyone leave a living breathing baby alone for up the half an hour without trying to do anything to save it. Horrible just absolutely horrible. And to be killed just because they might have had something like a cleft palate or club feet is inexcusable.

” A GROWING number of induced babies are born alive following failed late-term abortions.
New Queensland Health figures show 19 babies were aborted at 20 weeks or more in 2007, but rather than dying at birth as intended, the newborns were able to breathe unaided.
The babies, some as advanced as 26 weeks, were aborted using drugs to induce labour. Once born, no medical help was offered and they died soon afterwards. …”If babies are born alive after this they are likely to die within a few minutes, although it can take up to half an hour,” she said….Some were life-threatening, but they also included cleft palates and club feet.
